It happens a lot on urbanisations and new streets: the address is written correctly but the pin lands on another block. Customers follow the directions and cannot find you.
How to fix it
- Sign in to your Business Profile with the account that manages it.
- Tap «Edit profile» and go to «Location».
- Check the address and drag the pin on the map to your front door.
- Save.
Google reviews changes before publishing them. It usually takes a few days.
If you have moved
Change the address on the same listing instead of creating a new one, so you keep your reviews and photos. Google may ask you to verify the business again at the new address.
If you have no premises
If you work at customers' homes and Google shows your house, hide the address and add the areas you serve instead. The address stays verified but does not appear on the map.
