If an employee, a relative or an agency needs to manage your Google listing, do not give them your password. The listing lets you invite people with their own account.

How to invite someone

  • Open your Business Profile.
  • Open the three-dot menu, then «Business Profile settings» and «People and access».
  • Tap «Add» and enter their email address.
  • Choose a role: owner or manager.
  • They receive the invitation and accept it.

Owner or manager

RoleWhat they can do
Primary ownerEverything, including deleting the listing and managing who has access. There is only one.
OwnerEdit the listing and add or remove managers.
ManagerEdit the listing, reply to reviews and post. Cannot delete it or manage users.

For an agency or an employee, manager is usually enough. You should be the primary owner.

How to remove access

In «People and access», tap the person and choose «Remove». Do it when an employee leaves or you change agency.

Common questions

Someone else created the listing and I cannot get in. What do I do?

On Google Maps, open your business and tap «Own this business?» to request access. Google notifies the current owner and, if they do not respond, lets you verify it.

Do you ask for passwords?

No. We send an invitation or ask you to add us as managers, and you can remove us whenever you like.
