When Google suspends your listing, it disappears from Maps or can no longer be edited. It is almost always because something breaks Google's rules. You need to find what, fix it and ask for a review.
The most common causes
- Extra words in the business name: «Ana's Salon – best hairdresser in Torrevieja». The name must be the real one, as on your sign.
- An address that is not allowed: a PO box, a virtual office or a place where you do not serve customers.
- Two listings for the same business.
- A visible address when you only work at customers' homes.
- Big changes all at once: name, address and category together.
How to request a review
- Fix whatever breaks the rules first.
- Open your Business Profile: Google shows the suspension and offers a way to request a review.
- Prepare evidence: photos of your sign and shopfront, a bill with the address, or your business registration.
- Submit it and wait. It can take days or weeks.
What not to do
Do not create a new listing while the old one is suspended. Google treats it as a duplicate and it makes things worse. Avoid other changes while the review is pending.
