How to get your Google review link

Google gives you a link that opens the review box directly. Where to find it and how to use it.

If you ask a customer to «leave us a review on Google», they have to search for you, open your listing and find the button. Most mean to and never do. With the direct link, one tap and they are writing.

Where to find it

  • Search for your business name on Google while signed in, or open your Business Profile.
  • Tap «Ask for reviews» (in some versions, «Get more reviews»).
  • Copy the link. It starts with g.page and opens the review box directly.

Your listing has to be verified. If you do not see the option, check verification first.

How to send it

  • By WhatsApp, when the job is done or the next day.
  • In the confirmation email or on the invoice.
  • As a QR code on the counter, the table or your card.

«Thanks for coming in, Mark. If you have a minute, a review really helps us: [link]»

What you cannot do

  • Offer discounts or gifts for reviews.
  • Only ask happy customers after screening out the unhappy ones.
  • Write them yourself or ask family and staff to.

Google removes those reviews and can restrict your listing. In Spain, reviews that do not come from real customers are also a banned commercial practice.

Common questions

Does the link expire?

No. It stays the same as long as the listing exists, so you can print it.

Can someone without a Google account leave a review?

No. They need to be signed in to a Google account; the link asks them to sign in if they are not.
