Google checks other sites to see whether your business exists and whether the details match. A handful of well-known directories with the same name, address and phone builds trust. A hundred low-quality directories does nothing.
The ones that matter
| Site | Why |
|---|---|
| Google Business Profile | Google Maps and search. The main one. |
| Apple Business Connect | Apple Maps, the default map on iPhones. Many expats use it. |
| Bing Places | Bing, and some assistants that use its data. |
| Facebook and Instagram | Many people look there for opening hours or a phone number. |
| Páginas Amarillas | The best-known general directory in Spain. |
Sector sites

The same details everywhere
The same name, spelled the same way. The same address, in the same format. The same phone number. If you move or change number, update all of them. Details that do not match confuse Google and customers.
What is not worth it
Services that list you on hundreds of directories for a fee. Most are pages nobody visits and Google ignores.
