Booking.com and Airbnb bring guests, but they charge commission on every booking. The aim is not to leave them, but to have part of your bookings, especially returning guests, come direct.
Your own website
- Photos of every room, the terrace and the views.
- What is included: linen, parking, wifi, pool.
- Location and what is nearby.
- Prices by season, at least as a guide.
- A booking form or WhatsApp.
- Your tourist licence number, which must be shown.
Repeat guests
They are the easiest to move to direct booking. When they leave, give them a card or a message with your website and a small advantage for booking direct next time.
Languages
Most guests on the coast are from abroad. English is the minimum; add another language if many of your guests come from one country.
A 360º tour
A 360º tour lets guests walk through the apartment before booking. It reassures people booking from another country. We do them on the Costa Blanca and in the Vega Baja.
The legal side
Show your tourist registration number, keep prices clear and register your guests as required. A website does not change these obligations.
